Independant Shop Run by an Artist and Jewelry Maker with Eclectic Inspirations
All my life, I've been into just about all things to do with art, spirituality, and creative expression. When I'm in the process, that's when I find time flies the fastest. My work is often inspired by nature, spirituality, and sometimes industrial themes (I go through different periods from time to time).
In 2016, I've started selling my work at the local craft markets through New West Craft and through my shop here. With the only constant being change, my inspirations and styles have also changed as they still do when new inspirations come along.
So why the name, Owl's Nest? Well not only does the Owl Spirit bring wisdom, intuition, freedom, and revealing hidden truths, it also helps with navigating through challenges and brings emotional healing, especially in times of transition.
Having that said, because life happens, I have been on hiatus for some time, but now I'm back at it again, adding more new creations!
The materials I use include:
Natural gemstones, nickel-free metals, glass beads, faux leather / fabric chord, resin, natural foliage, polymer clay, digital art, wooden canvas, recycled materials, acrylic paint, and digital art on Eco-friendly fabrics (printed and distributed by Gelato). All the materials (including gemstones) I buy for my jewellery are from local distributors in my area.
